Loomwork

From 400 applications to a shortlist of ten

Loomwork is hiring software for companies with high-volume roles. Tensile designed the review flow that lets one recruiter sort hundreds of applications in an afternoon, without losing the people behind them.

Challenge

Recruiters were reading every CV in full, then copying notes into a spreadsheet. The old product showed one application per page, so a single role took days to review.

Approach

We designed a keyboard-first review queue with the three facts that matter for each role at the top, and a shortlist that builds itself as the recruiter works. Every decision can be undone, and every candidate gets a reply.

Outcome

Average time to shortlist fell from four days to one afternoon in the pilot, and the new flow became the default for all customers in the next release.
