A cash dashboard finance teams open first thing every morning
Halden Treasury is a cash management platform for mid-size finance teams. Tensile redesigned its dashboard and rebuilt the front end in 14 weeks, so treasurers see every account, every payment run and every forecast on one screen.
Challenge
Halden had grown from one product into four, and each one had its own navigation, its own tables and its own idea of what a payment was. Treasurers kept six tabs open to answer one question: how much cash do we have today, and where is it going this week?
Approach
We spent the first two weeks with eight treasury teams, watching them close the day. The new dashboard starts from their routine: balances first, then the payment runs that need approval, then the forecast. One table component with saved views replaced eleven custom tables, and the design system went into code in the same sprint as the screens.
Outcome
The new dashboard shipped to all customers in week 14. Daily active use went up, support tickets about missing payments dropped, and the Halden team now ships new screens from the shared system without a designer in the loop for routine work.
